  • Kaelyn (Kae) Janae Parker is from Richton Park, Illinois and began dancing at the age of 3. She’s trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and footwork. She’s trained under top choreographers like Dexter Carr, Ysabelle Capitule, Monyett Crump, and Juliam Deguzman.

    Kae danced on the WM Elite Dance Team, Western Michigan University Dance Team, Redemption Dance Team, and Andrew Varsity Dance Teams. She’s competed at UDA Nationals, DTU Nationals, and NDA Nationals. She’s proudly served as a choreographer assistant, helping lead teams to IHSA Finals, Sectional Championships, Conference Championships, and a 3rd Place finish at DTU Nationals.

    Kae currently serves as a coach, teacher, and choreographer at The Space Dance Company. She also coaches the WM Elite Dance Team at Western Michigan University. Her goal is to inspire dancers to pursue their dreams, believe in their talent, and use their gifts to make a lasting impact on and off the stage.

  • Nicholas (Nik) McNees is from Kalamazoo, Michigan and began dancing at the age of 4 at Steps Dance Center. He’s trained in jazz, hip hop, ballet, and contemporary styles of dance. In 2015, Nik joined the competition team at West Michigan Dance Center where he worked with many top industry professionals like Teddy Forance, Adam McGraw, Katie Reese, Rachel Siegel, Christie Sirota-Jordan, Kate Clark-Martin, Angelica Stiskin, and many more!

    After high school, Nik was accepted into Western Michigan University’s Dance Department and earned his bachelor of arts degree in 2023. Nik was the founding member of the WM Elite Dance Team and the first male performer on the Western Michigan University Dance Team.

    Nik is currently pursuing a career in dance education as a coach at The Space Dance Company and for the WM Elite Dance Team. He’s excited to share his passion with his students in a safe and inclusive environment designed for growth.
